A public platform, concept to launch
Entre Lienzos is a platform celebrating Argentine women artists, backed by the Buenos Aires city government. A public-sector sponsor, cultural stakeholders, and a real launch date.
The problem
A publicly backed cultural platform has a fixed launch date and stakeholders who do not report to you: the government sponsor, the institutions, the artists. And on the other side, concept, design and development all sitting with one person. There was nobody to delegate to when something did not fit.
What I did
I oversaw the whole thing: UX concept, development, testing and launch.
Outcome
Shipped. Forty artists in the database, declared of public interest by the Legislature of the City of Buenos Aires, and featured in the Argentine local press.
Why it matters
It closes the gap between “project manager” and “designer”. I can run the program and I can build the deliverable, which for a small team means one hire instead of two.
